There are ways to prevent child abuse, you just have to be aware! As a parent, you need to nurture your child and let them know that they are loved. As a friend you can offer your advice and guidance toward everyone because you never know how much they could need it. Also you need to learn to help yourself because most children being abused just let it happen. If they would just take the time and extra step to make their situation known to somebody, it could truly make all the difference. Most importantly, as an outside witness, you need to take responsibility for what you see. If you know of any type of abuse, you need to report it. You just may save a child's life.
